Hi there, my name is Samuel. I oversee the marketing here at Syn-Star: Complete I.T. Solutions…
As a journalist by background, I have met lots of interesting people, from celebrities such as Dame Esther Rantzen to senior politicians like Theresa May (although when she wasn’t the Prime Minister!).
Inevitably, my work here at Syn-Star is very different to what I experienced working in regional newsrooms, but it’s brilliant be a part of a growing company and I’m excited to see how it will continue to support others.
Please do contact me anytime via email on [email protected] – I’d love to connect with you.
My favourite hobby is…
Camping – or just being outdoors! There’s nothing better than spending a weekend or more away from the computer screen enjoying the outdoors. The tranquillity and opportunity to explore outdoors is my perfect escape.
I love…
Spending as much time as possible with both my family and friends. Much of my time at the weekend is spent with friends enjoying a good beer and a laugh, but I value my family incredibly so do as time allows with them too.
I have a hidden talent away from Syn-Star: Complete I.T. Solutions which is….
I’m not sure if it’s a hidden talent, but I volunteer with the Scouts as a local media and communications manager. It’s great to be a part of an organisation which is having a positive impact on the lives of young people and building them up with skills for life.
Some activities on my bucket list are….
- Walk the Great Wall of China
- Tour of Britain in a camper van
- Skydive (although, I’m convinced I still won’t have the confidence to do this!)
The best book I have read is…
The Culture Map: Breaking Through the Invisible Boundaries of Global Business, by Erin Meyer.
